Thank You & Appreciation Note

Dear All,

Proudly to announce that CL's Get Lost Trip in 2012 has finally came to an end.
I would say that..
Throughout this trip, I did learn a lot.
About Food.
About Love.
About People.
About Culture.
About Feelings.
There were so many things happened throughout this trip.
From the beginning to the end.
Full of challenges.
But I'm glad that I faced all of them, regardless good or bad.
I shall travel to Europe again as I just went to few places.
I wish I can go to more places in future.

There are a lot of persons appeared in my Get Lost Trip.
I got to know some new friends. I got to know more about my own friends.
The moment when I knew myself did something wrong, which I judged people without open their cover, their real face, their real personality.
The moment when I know how true the fact is which we shouldn't judge people by it's cover.
Only God can judge. He doesn't even judge us, why do we judge, we have no right at all, to judge them.
And the moment you thought you know that person well yet actually you are not.
I hope I can get another get another Get Lost Trip.
Once in Life Time. :)

There are a lot of person which I have to thank to.
They helped me a lot during my visit to their place.
They give me their hands when I need them.
They are just simply awesome.
Guys, thanks so much.
Again and Again.

Get Lost 2012 - Part 17

23 May 2012

**Sorry for the late update again, my trip is going to end soon, and I found out myself don't have enough time to stay here, a lot of things have to settle..**

We woke up quite late today, as both of us are super tired after full day walk tour yesterday.
We went to La Fayette Galleries to get something for friend, unfortunately, that thing is out of stock, then from that Galleries, we walked to The Louvre.
As the museum is open today, we pay a visit inside.
This museum is super huge, one day is not enough for us to visit, especially for those who loves museum a lot, I think they surely will fall for this museum, cause it's super awesome. But too bad, my leg got hurt and I have no mood to walk much..
After we finish our tour in The Louvre, we walked to Notre Dame, it's actually quite far, yet we saw the lover bridge, quite lovely..
The moment we arrived in Notre Dame, we was like..wow, why so many of visitors, that day weather is super hot as well..
From there, we took metro to Eiffel Tower.. I think Paris is one of the famous city in the world. Because every place of interest you go to, it will always full of tourist. Tourists from different countries and speaking different languages.
We stayed there until night time, we did pay a visit to the Eiffel Tower as well, it's quite expensive.. -.-

Get Lost 2012 - Part 16

21 & 22 May 2012

Went to Paris with friend today.
We took bus from Bristol University of West England to London Victoria Coach Station.
From there, we have to for one hour before we board to another bus and go to Paris.
Basically, we overnight in the bus.
We need to take ferry from Dover to Paris.
We arrived in Porte Maillot Bus Station around 8am.
Upon arrival, we walked to the nearest metro train station and went to our hostel.
It took us quite a long time, cause we don't know how to look at the metro map.
And the stuff of the station cheated us.
Hmm, we don't know how to speak French, we were asking for 10 single way tickets, we gave her money and she asked whether we have coins or not, as we don't have, my friend used his credit card to pay first. Then she took our money again and gave us back the change. (we only found it when my friend checked his account amount in hostel.)
As we arrived in hostel quite early in the morning, we have to put our luggage into luggage room and start our one day trip in Paris.
We are staying in Montmarte Area. As we know that there is a nice place, which is Sacre Coeur.. From there, you may view some part of Paris City. Weather is not that good today, a bit windy and full of clouds..
Due to friend forgot to bring his document, we have to walk back to hostel again, actually hostel and Sacre Coeur is not far from each other, but.. we have to climb to the hill if we have to go to Sacre Soeur.
After my friend took his document, I thought we are going to take metro to city center. Yet my friend told me that we should walk instead so that we can have a look on their culture and lifestyle. So we just took Paris map and started to walk. Walked about 10 minutes, then only know we are at the wrong side, we should walked back to Montmarte Hill and walk downhill again...
So we started to walk again.. -.- It's actually killing us so much, cause it's not easy to walk up to the Montmarte Hill, from the map, it looks so small, when we were walking to city center, then only we knew that we guessed it wrongly. Paris is super huge!!!!!
We used about few hours walked to The Louvre. (we walked at the wrong side again while we were walking to The Louvre. T.T)
And my leg got hurt due to some reason, but I tried to walk and walk as we have to save time..we only have two nights here.. :(
From The Louvre, you can see Place De La Concorde, so we started to walk again.
We saw Amorino while we were walking to Place De La Concorde, so we decided to buy ice-cream as our lunch!!! :D
It really taste nice even though got a bit expensive.. First time experience the moment where you are having ice-cream in the cold weather, it was so fun!!!!
After rested for a while, we started to walk again, until we walked to Place De La Concorde, we saw Arc De Triomphe again, so we decided to walk again as we already walked until here.
But, it was so so far away, we walked until we have to rested a while again at the half way, cause their roads are super huge and super long!!!!
Then we saw a long long boutique shops area before we arrive Arc De Triomphe, that day Adidas Boutique Shop was having a special event, they invited one of Real Madrid's player, Karim? Hmm, so sorry if I gave the wrong information as I really know nothing about Real Madrid.. >.<
Then we stopped by LV shop as my friend need to buy something for his mum. Spent about one hour there, we have to queue up before we go in and need to wait until got staff to serve you.
Finally we arrived Arc De Triomphe, after we took the picture of this famous building, we walked back to The Louvre as we would like to take the night view of The Louvre.
Due to Daylight Saving, we have to wait a long time, so we just went back after we had our dinner near that area as both of us felt so tired.

Get Lost 2012 - Part 15

18th May 2012

Went to Bath today, it's one of the nicest town in United Kingdom.
Everyone is recommends me to go here, they said this is place is just simply awesome.
Due to Bristol is not far from Bath, so I decided to pay a visit to Bath.
It only took me 25 minutes to arrive Bath from Bristol.
Upon arrival, I walked to The Roman Baths area.
Basically, I don't have any map with me, but I tried to memorize it as I checked out the map before.
The moment you saw The Roman Baths entrance, you may see Bath Abbey is at your left side as well.
I visited both of them. It's totally worth to visit, trust me, you really have to visit to The Roman Baths. Admission Fee is GBP12.25 per Adult.
After visited these two places, it was about 11pm. and you will see a lot of people visit to these two places. It was really a lot, kinda scary.. cause this won't happen in my country and I don't know why...
I get a map from the information center, which is near to these two places as well, then I walked to Royal Crescent.
One thing I love about United Kingdom, every single town, if you look at their map, it's really detailed and you will never get lost. Just trust their map, it is awesome! if you still scare, just at the signboard. :)
I used about 15 minutes to walk. Royal Crescent is a huge place, there has a huge garden as well, I just walked around there, visited to the park as well. then you may walked back to the center using another way..
at the center, you can started to shop over there, there is a southgate Bath there, it's a shopping area with a lot of branded product boutique shops.
I went back around evening.
If you are going to Bath, you no need to waste money to take bus and travel around Bath, if you are not going to outside Bath city center area, you can always use walk.. :)

We rested at his house for a while, then we took bus to central.
He brought me to walk around center area and suspension bridge.
As per my friend's experience, he told me that cinema in Bristol is the best cinema ever, so we watched one movie in that cinema, we watched "The Hunger Games". :D
My fried was being so nice, he cooked me some nice food as well.
